Thanksgiving is next week! Are you panicking yet? I am! Only because that means Christmas is right around the corner as well as 2013. Anyone else find it crazy we are almost 13 years into the 2000′s? Thirteen years ago we were all freaking out over Y2K. I also still think of the 90′s whenever someone says ,”10 years ago.” Time really does go faster the older you get! Adults weren’t kidding.
I hope you’re already planning for Turkey Day because these next six days are sure to fly by! Do you know what you are going to be making? Thankfully my family divides up tasks so I am only in charge of a couple dishes. We tend to make the same things each year and I seem to have been given the sweet potato dish the past couple years. I’m trying to find one my family loves as last year’s was not such a hit as my mom specifically said not to make it this year.
So whether you are like me and need new recipes to please your family, wait until the last minute to plan the menu or looking for dishes to accommodate the guests who don’t eat meat, I have gathered some recipes for you try this Thanksgiving!
Leek & Mushroom Stuffing
